Spice released Ice Cream Sandwich update for Mi-425 Stellar

Spice has released the Ice Cream Sandwich update for Spice Stellar Mi-425 Android smartphone this week. 

But, there is a downside, the update is neither available OTA or via any update software and owners will have to visit Spice Mobiles service centres to get their Mi-425 update to Android 4.0 from Android 2.3.6.

The smartphone was originally announced in June with Gingerbread on-board. It have a 1GHz Snapdragon processor by Qualcomm, 5MP camera, 4-inch capacitive touch display and 2000 mAh Lithium ion battery. It has been priced at INR 9,500.
