LG Optimus 4X HD gets its price slashed to £300

LG is hoping that its upcoming quad-core Optimus G is going to lift the brand to new heights, from where it can look down on other companies. 

The LG Optimus 4X HD was only released in the UK last month, so this isn’t exactly an old phone. But the expected arrival of Optimus G is a good enough reason for Expansys UK to cut its contract-free price down to £299.99. Well, either that or the phone just isn’t selling all that well.

The phone went up for sale for roughly £470. So you’re looking at making a pretty good saving if you decide to take the plunge and get the Optimus 4X HD.

Although only the black model is being discounted, the internals are the same through and through – and that’s what ultimately counts. The Optimus 4X HD, like the international variant of HTC One X, packs a 1.5GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor.It include a 4.7-inch HD IPS display, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 16GB onboard storage, microSD support, 2,150mAh user-removable battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
