LG and Qualcomm to hold an event on September 19th

There are numerous product launches by several tech titans in September 2012. 

Though the Optimus series handset manufacturer has not revealed any details about what can be expected from the event, it hints that it will launch a smartphone. 

The Optimus G will be equipped with its second generation Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor and as the event will be hosted by LG and Qualcomm, it hints at the possibility of the Optimus G smartphone.

Optimus G smartphone will support a 4.7 inch IPS True HD display with 1280 x 780 pixel resolution,capacity of 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and quad core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with LTE connectivity.

Further, Optimus G is also speculated to run on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich topped by the Optimus UI 3.0.
