The world’s largest smartphone maker Samsung has provided lots of exciting features in this device.Back in the month of December 2012, we posted about yet another addition to the Samsung Galaxy series.We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy Grand, which is expected to be available in two variants single SIM (GT-I9080) and dual SIM (GT-I9082).Since the gadget has been listed online i all over the world.We can now expect that soon it is going to hit the Indian market.
SPECIFICATIONS:-
- The Samsung Galaxy Grand I9082 has a 5 inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen
- A resolution of 800×480 pixels with 16M colours (186ppi), which seems to be a downside of the gadget.
- It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system with TouchWiz user interface.
- It has a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor clocking at 1.2GHz along with 1 GB of RAM.
- There is a 8 GB internal memory and also there is a microSD card slot, which allows you to expand the memory capacity by attaching a microSD (up to 64 GB) card.
- It has an 8 Megapixel autofocus camera at rear with LED flash supporting Full HD 1080p video recording at 30fps.
- There is a 2 Megapixel camera at rear for video calling.
- For connectivity, in Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos you can find 3G (HSDPA 21Mpbs), 2G (EDGE/GPRS), Wi-Fi, Micro USB, Bluetooth 4.0, FM, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm jack.

- It will be available in Black & White color options.

Recently bought this phone. Don't want to go into intricate technicalities. Overall this is a good phone from a common user perspective.
All features & functionalities are good except few cons. Camera is not good under low light conditions. Volume is a bit on lower side. Battery is not of much use. Even under moderate use, you will need to charge it atleast twice a day.
However, limitations apart, overall it's a good phone. Better to contribute 4k more instead of Micromax Convas HD. Atleast you need not hide the manufacturer.
