Samsung Galaxy S III Gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean On Verizon

Yesterday we heard that Verizon Wireless would be rolling out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone on their network in the US, the update was expected some time over the weekend.

Good news if you have been waiting for the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for your Samsung Galaxy S III as Verizon has now announced that the update is being rolled out from today the 14th of December.

The update is being rolled out in phases as an OTA update, although if you do not want to wait for the OTA update you can manually download it from the settings menu on your Galaxy S III.
