Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Release Date Set for August 30th

The huge Samsung Galaxy Note terminal, a metis between a smartphone and a tablet, was one of the most interesting gadgets introduced last year and, despite its size, more than 7 million customers have found it good enough for their needs.

There’s no wonder that its successor, Galaxy Note 2, is over-exciting the public. The good news is that we might actually see the new phablet sooner than we initially expected.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will support a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,680 x 1,050 pixels, 1.5 GB of RAM, LTE support, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will come with a quad-core chipset.

The next-generation Samsung phablet will not come pre-loaded with the latest Android version, as the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean integration would affect the sales of another important Samsung terminal, the Galaxy S3.

Having the same internals as Samsung’s Galaxy S3 should fix some of the issues that affected the original Note – UI stutters, lag, and the occasional crash – and bring a few new features to the device as well like S-Voice, NFC, and Samsung’s Music Hub.Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012: Episode 2 kicks of on August 30 in Berlin, Germany.
