Both the handsest have 5 inch touchscreen with HD display. Lets have a look at all the specs of both the handsets and see which one is the right buy for you.Micromax Canvas HD and Lava Xolo A1000 both supports 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.Micromax A116 Canvas HD is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Media Tek MT6589 processor while Lava Xolo A1000 comes with a 1GHz dual-core Mediatek  MT6577 processor.Both the smartphones works on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Micromax have 4GB ROM and internal storage of 1.77 GB while Lava has 4 GB internal storage(actual internal storage might be less). Both have have 1 GB RAM along with micro SD card slots up to 32 GB.Lava Xolo A1000 boasts a dimension of 143.5 x 70.8 x 8.8 mm while the dimensions of the Micromax Canvas HD is 144 x 74 x 10.7 mm.Micromax A116 Canvas HD supports an 8MP rear camera with a 2 MP front camera whereas Lava Xolo A1000 have a 8 MP rear camera and a 1.2 MP front camera.In terms of connectivity, both the handsets come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and micro USB 2.0.
