Polaroid to launch Tablets for kids

Finally a Good News for the kids that there is a company which has specially designed a gadget with the Kids as their target audience. Polaroid has launched its 7-inch Kids Android Tablet aimed specifically at the Tech savvy children.

The Kids Tablet from Polaroid has a 7-inch Capacitive Touchscreen with 800x480 pixels of resolution. The Tablet from the upcoming Digital Media Company runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. To provide a powerful performance to the users the gadget has been powered with 1GHz CORTEX A-8 Processor.

Polaroid Kids Tablet features a 2MP Rear Camera for the kids to capture desired shots. Other major specifications of the Kids Tablet includes an Internal Memory of 8GB along with an external Memory Card slot to provide flexibility for the expansion of memory via Micro SD Card.

On the Connectivity front the Polaroid Kids Tablet exhibits Wi-Fi connectivity features. It comes along with 35 Pre-loaded applications including the tremendous Nook Application for the Kids.

Alike the other Kids’ devices available in the market Polaroid Kids Tablet also comes with Pre-loaded Parent Controlled Security features along with the hotlinks to Kids’ Stuffs and Educational Content. The tablet seems to be something that would keep the Kids entertained along with providing them a bit of knowledge at the same time.
