Back in September, the Latin America-based BLU Products launched the Vivo 4.3, a phone that boasts some good specs (for a budget offering) and an attractive price point. Building on the success of the Vivo 4.3, BLU is releasing a bigger variant of the phone, the Vivo 4.65 HD.
Maintaining the slim and elegant look of the predecessor, the BLU Vivo 4.65 HD also utilizes the same dual-core MediaTek MT6577 chip, though it is now clocked higher at 1.2GHz. The other big change, as you might’ve guessed, is the use of a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display .
Other specs of the Vivo 4.65 HD include 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 3G/HSPA, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. If that’s not enough to whet your mobile appetite, you’ll also get “true dual-SIM capability”, which allows you to receive calls on both numbers at the same time.
Understandably, the new Vivo will come with a higher price tag than the previous model, but it’s actually not that huge of a difference. The unlocked dual-SIM phone will retail for $299.99 when it lands in U.S. in January. It’ll also be available in Latin America and select Asian countries soon. Are you tempted by BLU’s latest offering?
