If for some reason you’re still rocking a Galaxy S II on AT&T (and haven’t already installed a custom ROM), you’ll be excited to know that the carrier is rolling out a minor update to Android 4.0.4. Keep in mind this is for the original Galaxy S II (i777), and not the Galaxy S II Skyrocket.
Considering the device already received an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich during summer, we had thought the device reached the end of its update life cycle. Thankfully, Samsung hasn’t forgotten about its 2011 customers. The update is now available for download exclusively through Samsung’s own desktop-based Kies software. While we still don’t have an official changelog, users will need to be running a recent build in order to flash the upgrade
