Micromax launches another phablet, the A110 Canvas 2

Micromax launched Canvas A 100.This is first phablet with a single core processor and have a 5MP rear camera with a price of Rs 9,999.

A110 Canvas 2 has a 5 inch IPS screen,dual core 1GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.The handset includes 8MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB, 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery offering 5 hours talk time and 180 hours standby.

Earlier, with its ad campaign for Ninja 3.5 and Ninja 4, Micromax mocked at Samsung’s Galaxy Y series smartphones. And now the homegrown manufacturer has announced a direct rivalry with the unofficial availability of its next generation phablet – A110 Canvas 2, which obviously seems to be a direct competitor to Galaxy Note 2 – Samsung second generation phablet, successor of Galaxy Note released in India recently at a price tag of Rs 39,990.

The Galaxy Note 2 has a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels,1.6GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting 32GB, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth with A2DP and a massive 3,100 mAh Li-ion battery.

The phablet comes in three versions – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
