LG Optimus G will be the next Nexus smartphone.Google will be announcing its next version of Android – Android 4.2 rumored as Key Lime Pie while unveiling the next Nexus smartphone in the end of October 2012. This hints at a possibility that the next Nexus smartphone could run on Android 4.2.
LG Nexus has a back cover very similar to the one on the Optimus G, but at the front it’s almost identical to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.The LG Nexus carries the Mako codename and runs on Android 4.1.2 using Linux 3.4 kernel.
The LG Nexus smartphone will have a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor,have a 2GB of RAM, 1280 x 768 True-High Definition IPS display, 8MP camera and a non-removable battery. It will lack a micro SD slot and will have only 8GB to 16GB of internal storage.This handset will come in with in-built wireless charging.
