T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the gadget that has been granted the honor to take the software leap to Android 4.0. Now it is true that T-Mo customers/Tab 10.1 owners have been waiting for this upgrade for quite some time.
It’s equally true (and frustrating) that a different Galaxy Tab 10.1 model, namely the GT-P7500, has been upgraded more than a month ago to ICS. Still, I’m sure that the current upgrade will please some Tab users.
The nicest surprise at this latest Ice Cream Sandwich rollout is that, although T-Mobile’s support page clearly listed it as an optional manual software update to happen “via Kies only”, a lot of users are reporting that they’ve gotten it OTA (over-the-air).
