Nokia Lumia 920 PureView Smashes The iPhone 4S And Galaxy S3 In Challenge

Nokia held a party featuring a challenge for the Apple iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S3. Any phone that could take better pictures than the Lumia 920 of a flower inside a dark hole, without using flash, would be declared the winner.

The image on the Samsung Galaxy S3 was so dark that viewers could barely make out what was in the picture, and the Apple iPhone 4S's shot came out looking even darker, while the Lumia 920's shot came out clear and vivid.

The Lumia 920 is better positioned than the other devices to win this competition. It has large BSI sensor, lens stabilization, and a host of camera-based software on the back end that should allow the user to take some great looking shots.
