Galaxy S3 flaunts a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a whopping resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The 4.8in screen incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and the TouchWiz User Interface 4.0 version. The new Corning Gorilla Glass 2 is 20 percent thinner and enables better touch responsiveness. Its TouchWiz User Interface 4.0 offers visual improvements and gestures based functionality.The Samsung smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Cortex-A9 quad-core CPU and Exynos 4212 quad chipset. It packs Mali 400 MP GPU which provides complete graphics acceleration, minimises heat dissipation and maximises battery life.
In contrast, the Sony smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU and Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon chipset. It includes Adreno 220 GPU which ensures an enhanced level of 3D graphics performance.
On the other hand, the Motorola smartphone comes with a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, TI OMAP 4430 chipset and PowerVR SGX540 GPU which offers support to powerful graphics.
