Samsung launches S Health wellness app for Galaxy S III

The Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone is about to become much more versatile with Sammy’s introduction of the S Health app. This app allows Galaxy S III users to collect health data to help achieve or maintain a healthier lifestyle. It transmits information from items like blood pressure monitors and body composition scales to the app and Galaxy S III via Bluetooth or USB.
Samsung has launched its new S Health service that can track your weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar on the Galaxy S III smartphone, the company announced today.
The S Health app makes it possible to connect your Galaxy S III phone with a variety of other health devices through Bluetooth and USB. Once connected with other devices, it can measure blood pressure, blood sugar, and your weight and chart your results. Ideally, the app will help you learn your everyday health patterns so you can make adjustments to your diet and exercise.
