Google Nexus 7 Shipping Changed To 1-2 Weeks

It looks like we could be getting closer to the launch of Google’s Nexus 7 tablet, when the device initially went up for pre-order it was showing a shipping time of 3 to 4 weeks, this has now been changed today to 1-2 weeks, and the device is expected around the middle of July.

As a reminder Google Nexus 7 features a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and it also features a 12 core CPU.The Nexus 7 comes with Android 4.1 Jelly bean and it is available with a choice of either 8GB of built in storage of 16GB of built in storage.

We are expecting the Google Nexus 7 to be an extremely popular tablet, just like Amazon’s Kindle Fire was when it launched. The device was introduced at very attractive rates. $200 would get you the 8GB version while $250 would get you the 16GB version. The tablet has been under a bit of fire lately due to its lack of a microSD card slot. Despite the small (but understandably upsetting) exclusion, the device is the best you’ll get at this price range
